Warning: This site describes the AngularJS (1.x) implementation of the SKY UX framework. We still support this version, but it is in maintenance mode. We no longer develop features for this version of SKY UX, and we recommend that you use the latest version instead. For more information, see developer.blackbaud.com/skyux.

Getting started

Blackbaud’s next-generation user-experience framework provides design patterns and a toolset to create a consistent, cohesive user experience for Blackbaud services. And since SKY UX is open source, third-party developers can provide the same consistent user experience in customizations to build user confidence and simplify navigation.

You can use the tutorials that follow to get started with SKY UX. These tutorials demonstrate how to create a simple SKY UX application using the two common page types.

The current tutorials only cover the basics to get you started, but we will create additional tutorials as we identify areas where they are necessary. In addition to these tutorials, the website also includes reference material for SKY UX's HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework. After the tutorials, see the reference documentation to delve deeper into creating a fully functioning SKY UX applications. Keep in mind that the heart of SKY UX is AngularJS and Bootstrap, so you need to be familiar with these technologies to build with SKY UX.
